Update Persona

Partially updates one persona by its id, scoped to the workspace. Every field is optional, but at least one must be sent. Fields left out are unchanged; the others behave exactly like PUT .../persona (e.g. location must keep at least one value if sent). Updating one persona never touches another.

persona_id	integer	ID of the persona, as returned by this endpoint. This ID is specific to your environment.

Request body

Every field is optional, but at least one must be sent.

job_title	array of strings	Target job titles — at least one value, if sent.
exclude_job_title	array of strings	Job titles to exclude.
location	array of strings	Target locations — at least one value, if sent.
headcount	array of strings	Target company headcount ranges. Allowed values: `1-10`, `11-50`, `51-200`, `201-500`, `501-1,000`, `1,001-5,000`, `5,001-10,000`, `10,001+`.
industry	array of strings	Target industries.
seniority	array of strings	Target seniority levels. Allowed values: `owner`, `founder`, `c_suite`, `partner`, `vp`, `head`, `director`, `manager`, `senior`, `entry`, `intern`.
additional_info	string	Free-text additional instructions or context for the persona.
tag	string	Short free-form label you can set to recognise this persona in your own systems. Two personas of the same workspace cannot share a tag — reusing one returns `409 Conflict`.

The response returns the id of the updated persona.

Response fields

Field	Type	Description
data.id	integer	ID of the updated persona. This ID is specific to your environment.
warnings	string[]	Non-blocking notices about the persona you just submitted, for example a location that could not be resolved to a country. Omitted when there is nothing to report. Never blocks the write.

Errors

Status	Meaning
401	The master key is missing or invalid.
403	The master key is not authorized to access this resource.
404	No workspace found for this `partner_workspace_id`, or no persona found for this `persona_id`.
409	This tag is already used by another persona in this workspace.
422	Invalid request body — no field provided, or an invalid value in a provided field. Also returned for an invalid `persona_id`.
429	Rate limit exceeded.
500	An unexpected server error occurred.

Error responses use RFC 9457 problem documents with Content-Type: application/problem+json.
