Set a company's LinkedIn page

Give a company its LinkedIn page, confirm the page we suggested, or correct a wrong one.

Sets the LinkedIn page of a company of your workspace: to give a page to a company we could not identify, to confirm the page we suggested (send the linkedin_url of identification.suggested_company), or to correct a wrong one. The answer is the company, in the same shape as Get a company.

Only this company in your workspace changes; no other workspace is affected. Any LinkedIn company page is accepted: we do not check that it matches the company's website.

When the company is monitored, we start finding its people again from the new page by ourselves. Sending the page the company already has changes nothing, and sending the same page twice does not start a second mapping.

Access modes

Use a workspace API key. The workspace is inferred from the key.

Response fields

The fields are those of Get a company, including identification. The company is identified right away; its other fields fill in once we have read the page.

Errors

Status	Meaning
401	The API key is missing or invalid.
402	Your workspace has no active plan (`paywall_required`). Start your trial or choose a plan at https://www.getsillage.com/paywall, then retry.
404	The company does not exist.
409	Another company in your workspace already uses this LinkedIn page (`linkedin_page_taken`). Nothing was changed.
422	The `company_id` is not a valid ID, `linkedin_url` is missing, or `linkedin_url` is not a LinkedIn company page (showcase, school and personal pages are refused).
429	Rate limit exceeded.
500	An unexpected server error occurred.

Error responses use RFC 9457 problem documents with Content-Type: application/problem+json. type is always about:blank; code tells one problem from another, detail says what went wrong this time, and errors names the field at fault.
